

The Vision Impact Institute's mission is to raise awareness about the importance of vision correction and protection to make good vision a global priority. The VII strategy is to:
- Be the voice of vision by gathering and communicating pertinent information to all stakeholders, including government policy makers, optical industry associates and the general public, to mobilize a worldwide movement on healthy vision.
- Offer a unique database of global peer reviewed reports and studies to build evidence on the need for vision correction and protection.
- Engage key opinion leaders worldwide to build coalitions, partnerships, and collaborations to put healthy vision on the global agenda.
- Empower advocates for action (eye screening, eye examination, provision of optical correction, policy change) to improve the lives of people around the world.
Kristan Gross is the Global Executive Director. of the Vision Impact Institute. Its Advisory Board comprises four independent international experts: Pr. Kevin Frick (United States), Pr. Clare Gilbert (United Kingdom), Pr. Kovin Naidoo (South Africa), Mr. Arun Bharat Ram (India).
