Dr. Neelam is a clinician-scientist in the department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences at Khoo Teck Puat Hospital, Singapore.
Her research interests include macular pigment, age-related macular degeneration, and pathological myopia. She is conducting studies related to macular pigment and macular carotenoids, lutein and zeaxanthin.
She is also involved in epidemiological studies at Singapore Eye Research Institute and currently holds an adjunct faculty position at Duke-NUS Graduate Medical School.
