Eva Lazuka-Nicoulaud is the Director at the Vision Impact Institute for Europe and Africa. In her role since September 2018, she works with Governments, Policymakers, Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs), professional bodies and other industry partners throughout Europe and Africa to raise awareness about the importance of vision correction and vision protection. She leads evidence-based advocacy with stakeholders and research partners to ensure the priority of good vision for all citizens in the regions.
Eva has a significant experience in the vision care industry from both an expertise and education perspective. Over the past 20 years, she has held a variety of international roles in scientific consulting at GIFO, global innovation strategy, global marketing, communications, and global Professional Affairs at Essilor International. In addition, she has led external influencer engagement, advocacy and strategic lobbying. Most recently, she served as head of global key opinion leaders network and professional relations, leading science-driven advocacy programs. She has also served as Chief Editor of Points de Vue, the International Review of Ophthalmic Optics from January 2014 to April 2019.
She co-authored a number of publications and innovative patents during her work experience.
