Bernard Bourdoncle is graduated from the Institut d'Optique Graduate School. in Orsay, France. He is working for Essilor International for 30 years as a research scientist on optics and vision science. He is currently head of Vision Science teams in the R&D department. His main domains of interest are Space Perception and Ophthalmic Optics. He is part of the scientific committees of NSERC/Essilor Industrial Research Chair at the Université de Montréal, QC and ANR/SNCF/Essilor Industrial Research Chair "Silversight" at Institut de la Vision in Paris, FR.
