4. USER REGISTRATION and PERSONAL ACCOUNTs

In order to access certain areas of or participate in certain activities contained on the Site, ESSILOR INTERNATIONAL may require you to create an account ("Account"). To create an Account, ESSILOR INTERNATIONAL shall require you to provide the following personal information (mandatory fields): your full name, professional occupation, country of residence, e-mail address and password. Creating a personal Account is your choice. Each time you decide to create such Account and, therefore, to provide us with your personal information, you agree to: (a) provide accurate, current and complete information about yourself as prompted by our registration form, and (b) maintain and update your information to keep it accurate, current and complete. You acknowledge that if any information provided by you is untrue, inaccurate, not current or incomplete, ESSILOR INTERNATIONAL has the right to terminate your access to and use of the Site or your participation in any activity contained on or available through the Site.

In order to access certain areas of, or participate in certain activities contained on the Site (for example to leave comments), ESSILOR INTERNATIONAL may require you to select a username and a password. You agree that ESSILOR INTERNATIONAL has the right in its sole discretion to suspend or terminate your Account and to refuse any and all current or future use of the Site or any portion thereof.

If you have registered or subscribed to the Site, your username and password must be kept confidential and used only by you.

ESSILOR INTERNATIONAL has the right to disable any username and password whether chosen by you or allocated by ESSILOR INTERNATIONAL at any time if in our opinion you have failed to comply with any of the provisions of these terms and conditions of use.

5. Protection of intellectual property rights
